STi CONVENIENCE

More convenient kiln loading for potters

The SK kiln series has eliminated the need to lean over when inserting the ceramic body as well as the inconveniences
when inserting a lot of ceramic bodies. The UP / DOWN function allows the ceramist to insert the ceramic body without any hindrance
when the pot is raised / lowered using a single button.

Here, the functions of the automatic (AK kiln) kiln are included, including the functions of the kiln to eliminate inconvenience.
An electric reduction/oxidation kiln, it is STI's research and development product for making the work of ceramists more convenient
the future thanks to the automatic system which does not need checking when the temperature is raised during firing
and reducts by itself according to temperature changes.

* The video below shows how the operation of the SK kiln reduces, oxidizes and biscuit fires.
It is a video to improve understanding of the SK kiln. Please note that actual situations may differ due to the characteristics of the animation.

    • 06

300°C to 850°C is the solid reductant carbonization zone. The fire hole is automatically opened and the lower blower is operated, and air is introduced into the kiln.

    • 07

850°C to 1250°C is the reduction firing range.. The fire hole automatically closes, and the lower blower stops to block air.

    • 08

Maintaining 1250°C for 2 hours is the maturing period. The fire hole automatically opens and the lower blower operates. Air is injected into the kiln to exhaust the reducing gas and to cool quickly.

    • 09

The cooling range is from 1250°C to 100°C. Reduction firing is complete and it cools down. When the temperature drops below 100°C, remove the ceramic body.
