STi Electric Kiln System

Easy and convenient with solid reducing agent, not LPG gas

AK Kiln

STi CONVENIENCE

More convenient work for ceramicists

The AK series is a fully automatic reduction / oxidation kiln that eliminates inconvenience during the process of reducting.
It is a research and development product of STi for more convenient ceramic work in the future thanks to the automatic system which
does not need checking when the temperature is raised during firing and reducts by itself according to temperature changes.

* The video below shows how the operation of the AK kiln reduces, oxidizes and biscuit fires.
It is a video to improve understanding of the AK kiln. Please note that actual situations may differ due to the characteristics of the animation.

300° C to 850°C is the solid reductant carbonization zone. Air is introduced into the kiln.

    • 04

The range from 850°C to 1250°C is the reduction firing range. The fire hole automatically closes, and the lower blower stops to block air.

Maintaining 1250°C for 2 hours is the maturing period. The fire hole automatically opens and the lower blower operates.

    • 06

The cooling range is from 1250°C to 100°C. Air is injected into the kiln to exhaust the reducing gas and to cool quickly. When the temperature drops below 100 ° C, remove the ceramic body.
