STi Electric Kiln System
Easy and convenient with solid reducing agent, not LPG gas
STi Electric Kiln
STi TECHNOLOGY
Exceptional Technology in the Equipment Field
STi is recognized for outstanding technology in the areas of semiconductors and optical communication equipment.
We are manufacturing and supplying innovative electric kilns using reduction technology.
STi Technology
Reduction Plasticity
Since gas kilns use LPG gas as a reducing agent, the amount of LPG gas is more than the amount of oxygen at the time of reduction, so the carbon of the LPG gas takes up the oxygen in the ceramic body and the glaze. Because it is made up of minerals, it takes oxygen in the kiln and the oxygen in the ceramic body and glaze in the kiln at the point of reduction and discharges it to the outside.
STi Technology
Oxidation Firing
Oxidation firing of ceramics means that, unlike reduction firing, sufficient oxygen is supplied to ceramic body and glaze when reducing. The STi electric kiln does not contain any reducing agent when it is fired, but it is supplied with sufficient oxygen through a heat circulation device for complete oxidization.
STi Electric Kiln for Oxidation and Reduction
-
Provides reducing atmosphere
Like firewood kilns or gas kilns, it's possible to create a reducing atmosphere, so perfect reduction firing is achieved.
-
Thixotropy Occurs
Because of the heat circulation system, there is thixotropy which cannot be seen in electric kilns.
-
Provides an Oxidizing Atmosphere
The oxygen atmosphere is provided through sufficient oxygen supply, not the neutral atmosphere, which is worlds apart from conventional kilns.
-
Can be used anywhere
The body of the kiln body has a detachable assembly structure, so it can be installed in any place such as a narrow passage.
-
No Gas or Odor
The odor generated when firing materials such as gas, glaze and ocher are removed through the chimney.
-
Uses automatic controller
Built-in automatic program controller allows you to freely specify the temperature and holding time.
